Themes in the Hunger Games
I think that the theme behind my theme.
1. I think that the lottery is a collective act of murder because every year someone is killed for no good reason. If there was a concrete reason for people to be murdered then you could look at it in a different way
2. I think that maybe for some people in the town it could be morally justified, because they have been probably doing this tradition for many years and after a while people would have to get used to it because they see it every year, and maybe they don't want the town to grow to big also.
3.
4. I would react depending on the traditions the different cultures but the Lotteries tradition in this case I would react pretty badly because I think it is horrific that they stone people to death because were we live we never see traditions so disgusting. Something I can relate this to would be the story in Somalia were that man and women were stoned to death for adultery.
