Poem
1800's, a man, enslaved by his owners,
walks along with those very owners in the nighttime,
little does he know, this will be their finale,
for a dentist has come to aid himself,
the two men form unlikely friendship,
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whole misadventured piteous overthrows
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their manly hunt,
Is now the two hours' movie of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
walks along with those very owners in the nighttime,
little does he know, this will be their finale,
for a dentist has come to aid himself,
the two men form unlikely friendship,
A pair of star-cross'd lovers take their life;
Whole misadventured piteous overthrows
The fearful passage of their death-mark'd love,
And the continuance of their manly hunt,
Is now the two hours' movie of our stage;
The which if you with patient ears attend,
What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
